The Foundation supports a wide group of people in need and organisations based in the region of Pomerania, where LPP’s headquarters and its distribution centre are located. We operate also in the region of Lesser Poland, in particular, in Cracow where House and Mohito offices are situated. In each region, we help children and young people facing difficult life circumstances and the sick. We also support organisations helping people at risk of social exclusion and health care centres. In 2018 only, the Foundation provided over PLN 1.5 million for supporting over 100 non-governmental organisations (in cash and in kind) and implementing volunteering initiatives of LPP employees.

ECO AWARE is a project aimed at collecting textiles in the largest Reserved stores in Poland. Each person visiting our stores may donate unneeded clothes by putting them into containers nearby cash desks. The label is irrelevant, it is important to make sure that clothes are in a good condition and may be reused. All items collected are delivered by the LPP Foundation to the St. Brother Albert Aid Society operating night shelters all over Poland. Being aware of human and environmental needs, we help prolong the life of textiles and enhance living conditions of those in need.

SUPPORT FOR HEALTH CARE CENTRES FOR CHILDREN
Among us, there are very talented designers, architects and artists wanting with an open heart to be engaged in activities providing help for health care centres. Previously, we painted 3 day rooms for the youngest patients from different wards of the Polanki Children’s Hospital in Gdańsk. The foundation named Fundacja z Pompą received from us funds for purchasing beds and an air-conditioning device for the Paediatric Haematology and Oncology Ward.
In Cracow, we cooperate with the Paediatric Hospital in the Prokocim district. As a result, the youngest patients received equipment for kids corners and required recording equipment for the radiology ward.
Furthermore, in the said hospital, our employees play fairy tale characters giving children presents twice a year (on the Children’s day and the Saint Nicolas Day).
THE HOSPICE FOUNDATION
This is yet another time when we provide financial support to beneficiaries of the Orphan Children’s Fund. The project is aimed at providing psychological aid in mourning and economic assistance for families whose financial standing has deteriorated due to a loss of a family member. So far, the foundation has helped over 5.5 thousand people. In 2017 and 2018, we provided scholarships for 42 beneficiaries of the Fund. We have been also supporting the Foundation’s day-to-day activity.
We are sensitive not only to children’s fate but also to what happens to helpless animals.
For years, we have been providing our materials to insulate kennels, and our employees are eager to help animals.
Among us, there are persons actively engaged in the activities of foundations taking care of, among others, dogs, cats and wild animals.
Lately, jointly with Pomorski Koci Dom Tymczasowy cat shelter, our volunteers renovated and prepared for the upcoming season 12 cat shelters located in the old Gdynia Shipyard and the Nauta Shipyard.
