2000 List of Rzeczpospolita – another award for LPP

We are proud to announce that LPP was once again listed on the 2000 List of the “Rzeczpospolita” daily, i.e. among the leading Polish companies included in the ranking made by the newspaper’s editorial staff and the Ministry of Economy. The Chapter evaluating the activity of Polish enterprises in 2014 awarded LPP in the “Orzeł Eksportu” (Export Eagle) and “Dobra Firma” (Good Company) categories.   Another award evidences that LPP significantly affects the development of the Polish economy and, as a leader in the field of exports, builds a positive image of our business in the world. Such awards are the result of the involvement of all employees and a confirmation that the company’s development is noticed not only by consumers but also by the market and opinion-forming media.   The official award ceremony for the companies of the 2000 List was held on October 20 in the Ministry of Economy premises. On behalf of the company, the award, from the hands of Janusz Piechocinski, Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Economy, and Bogusław Chrabota, editor-in-chief of “Rzeczpospolita”, was received by Marta Chlewicka, company’s acting Press Spokesman. The “Export Eagles” were awarded to five companies that send abroad the largest amounts of their products, while the “Good Company” title was awarded to those enterprises that had developed in the most expansive way over the last three years.   [tribulant_slideshow gallery_id=”14″]   The 2000 List is a list of Polish companies evaluated in several categories – e.g. in terms of profitability, the value of exports, profits gained, the scale of investment or employment growth dynamics. This year, apart from LPP, the awarded companies included Forte Furniture, the Monnari brand, or the CCC footwear manufacturer.   LPP SA, a company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2001, is one of the fastest growing clothing companies in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. For 20 years, the company has been consistently operating in Poland and abroad, being successful on the demanding clothing market. LPP SA manages 5 popular fashion brands (RESERVED, Cropp, House, MOHITO and SiNSAY), a network of nearly 1,600 shops, creating workplaces for nearly 20 thousand people at its offices and sales structures in Poland, Europe, Asia and Africa. The company invests and acquires new markets in 2015, opening its first store in Egypt, Kuwait and Qatar. In 2014, the company advanced to the stock exchange index WIG20, which generates a significant part of the turnover on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, and belongs to the prestigious MSCI Poland index.   Contact for the media: Marta Chlewicka acting Press Spokesman e-mail:
