LPP SA becomes a new client of Arvato Polska

LPP SA has signed a partnership agreement with Arvato Polska, a leader in end-to-end outsourcing solutions for e-commerce logistics. Online shops of LPP brands (Reserved, Mohito, House and Sinsay) will be operated from a dedicated Arvato warehouse located in Central Poland.

LPP SA has outsourced e-commerce processes of the Reserved, Mohito, House and Sinsay brands, which include several million products shipped every year. As part of its logistics services, Arvato will be responsible for key components of the whole process including storage, order picking, wrapping, courier shipping, processing returns and handling defect complaints, as well as specialist services (repacking, labelling, rewrapping, quality checking) of garments, shoes, bags and accessories.

Under the contract, Arvato will expand its warehouse area by another 30,000 m2 over the next several weeks with an option to further expand it to 60,000 m2 over the next 3 years and will employ another 500 people in the first year of the project. Worth several million zlotys, this dedicated investment project will be located in Central Poland.

The operational launch of the project is scheduled for October 2017. The warehouse will handle both domestic shipments within Poland and international shipments (to Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, the Baltic states and the English market).

Outsourcing online sales logistics is a perfect solution for our company. We will work with the best experts and benefit from their many years of operational experience with e-commerce logistics. Moreover, the operations will be located in the part of Poland that is most convenient for us in terms of distribution. This means that the LPP logistics center in Pomerania will be able to focus almost exclusively on handling our chain of more than 1700 retail stores located in 18 countries. As part of the project, our logistics center in Pruszcz Gdański will handle orders from online customers of the Cropp brand, while handling and shipping for orders for the other brands: Reserved, Mohito, House and Sinsay, will be carried out by our partner’s warehouse in Stryków,” says Jacek Kujawa, Vice President of LPP S.A. responsible for e-commerce development.

The project will involve employing 500 people at the distribution center. Arvato Polska offers its employees an opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing team while gaining experience in the e-commerce industry. Arvato also provides free transport, meals and a medical package or a sports card. Furthermore, there will be a company social benefit fund in the branch.
