LPP in the Listed Company of the Year 2017 Ranking

LPP in the Listed Company of the Year 2017 Ranking

On 26 March of this year, at the Grand Theater in Warsaw, the results of the 19th edition of the ranking of the best companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange were announced. LPP was a double laureate of the competition, which won third place in the “Investor Relations” category and was among the top 10 listed companies in 2017.

The Listed Company of the Year is one of the oldest rankings of this type, organized for 19 years by the Puls Biznesu daily. The results of the plebiscite are the effect of voting conducted among capital market specialists – analysts, brokers and investment advisors representing brokerage houses and offices, insurance companies, pension, investment and trust funds, banks’ capital departments and consulting companies. The companies included in the WIG20, mWIG40 and sWIG80 indexes were evaluated.

In total, the experts rated listed companies in 5 categories: board competences, success in 2017, development perspective, product and service innovation, and investor relations. In the latter, LPP took the honorable 3rd place.

According to capital market experts, LPP is the third listed company that communicates best with investors. In this category, among others, the quality of information and communication with the market, dialogue with institutional and individual investors as well as the speed of answering investors’ questions was evaluated.

Investor relations are very important to us, which is why every year we strive to improve them. The granting of the prize in the Listed Company of the Year 2017 ranking in the Investor Relations category confirms that our work has been noticed and appreciated, comments Przemysław Lutkiewicz, Vice President of the LPP Management Board. The interest of the capital market on the activity of LPP is growing, especially on the part of institutional investors, mainly Polish and foreign funds, he adds. dodaje.

LPP provides its investors with detailed information on the company’s activity, among others through regular bilingual on-line broadcasts of conferences summarizing periodic results, but also via website www.lpp.com/relacje-inwestorskie, where LPP regularly publishes both individual and consolidated periodic reports on its operations. In addition, all the information relevant to LPP’s activity can be found there, as well as presentations in which compilations of the most important information from the financial statements are presented. The so-called databook in the form of an Excel sheet is also published, which allows the interested parties to quickly compare company data for the last 12 years, starting from 2006.

For 2 years we have also been organizing the so-called Investor Days for our investors, that so far have been held in Pruszcz Gdański and London. We wanted to present important aspects of our business, including the Distribution Center in Pruszcz Gdański. It is one of the largest and most modern clothing distribution centers in Central and Eastern Europe, which provides goods to our network of over 1.7 thousand showrooms. Last year, we also invited our investors to London, where we had the opportunity to present our first showroom in Great Britain, on the prestigious Oxford Street. We plan to continue such contacts with our investors, because, in our opinion, this is a good element in the process of communication and relations with them, and the received reward is a clear confirmation, adds Przemysław Lutkiewicz.
