The Polish clothing manufacturer is the winner in the National Success category of the 17th edition of the Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland. The awarding of the distinction to the Pomeranian company honours nearly 30 years of work contributing to the growth of the Polish economy.
Winners of the Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland were awarded during Congress 590, one of the largest cyclical economic events in Poland. The Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland is an economic distinction granted to companies which significantly contribute to the growth of the Polish economy and create a positive image of our Polish entrepreneurship globally.
– It was with great satisfaction that I received the news about LPP being granted the Economic Award of the President of the Republic of Poland. Regardless of our long-term expansion on foreign markets, it is in Poland that ideas and concepts for the development of the enterprise are created. The profiles of candidates to the award were submitted by local government units or public institutions. LPP was nominated by the Marshal’s Office of Pomorskie Voivodeship. In the National Success category, the distinction is awarded to Polish companies that have been achieving sustainable development for at least 5 years, being a model of functioning for other companies.
On behalf of LPP, the award was received by Przemysław Lutkiewicz, Vice-President of the Management Board of LPP for Finance. For LPP, the nomination is a special crowning and appreciation of nearly 30 years of operation. Thanks to the commitment of many talented people and facing business challenges, the company is present on 25 markets.
The President of the Republic of Poland granted the awards in five main categories: SME Leader, National Success, International Success, Responsible Business, Family Company and in two special categories: Startup_PL and Research + Development.
The award-winning companies included DELTA Zbigniew Różycki, Olimp Laboratories Sp. z o.o., Marco Sp. z o.o., Ochnik S.A, Warsaw Genomics Sp. z o.o. sp. K, and Medical Inventi S.A. Czesław Lange was also awarded an individual prize for his outstanding contribution to the growth of the Polish economy and entrepreneurship.
