Recruitment for the LPP Distribution Centre is in full swing

A few weeks after the completion of the first stage of the investment of the Gdańsk-based clothing manufacturer in the Brześć Economic Zone, recruitment for most of the jobs in the new facility has begun. Nearly 500 people will have been employed at the Distribution Centre by the end of March next year. LPP is supported in the recruitment process by employment agencies – Manpower and Randstad.

The Distribution Centre in Brześć Kujawski is another strategic point on LPP’s logistics map. The centre is to handle a weekly shipment of even 8 million pieces of clothing and accessories for stationary stores. The centre is looking for, among others, team foremen, forklift operators, electricians, electromechanics, goods packers, warehouse workers and warehouse operators. Recruitment will be organised in several stages. The first members of staff will start work already at the beginning of January 2022. Then, at about weekly intervals, the staff of the facility will gradually increase until the target number of 500 people employed is reached by the end of March next year. The recruitment process is carried out in two ways – directly by LPP and through two renowned employment agencies: Manpower and Randstad.

How to apply – functional and specialist positions

LPP is recruiting for the following positions: team foreman, forklift operator, electrician, electromechanic and other specialist positions. Those who get hired to work at the Centre will sign a contract directly with the Gdańsk-based company. You can apply for the positions online at www.lpp.com/brzesc. After selecting an interesting offer and clicking on the “Apply with LPP” button you will see detailed information about the responsibilities and requirements for a given position. In the next step, the candidate will be asked to fill in the application form and attach documents – CV and cover letter (optional document).

How to apply – warehouse positions

Persons interested in working as: goods packer, warehouse worker and warehouse operator will be recruited and then sign a contract with Manpower or Randstad respectively. After a period of at least several months, employees will have the opportunity to work directly for LPP.

In order to take part in the recruitment conducted by Manpower, applicants should submit documents via the website www.manpower.pl/lpp or send an application to rekrutacja.lpp@manpower.pl. Applications will also be accepted during information meetings held twice a week in Włocławek – at the Center of Non-Governmental Organizations and Volunteer Work at ul. Żabia 12a and at the seat of the Voluntary Labour Corps at ul. Brzeska 6a. Detailed information about the dates of the meetings may be obtained by calling: 508 456 603.

As regards Randstad, there are two application paths available – online, through the forms available on the website www.randstad.pl/lpp and directly. Interested applicants can make an appointment for a recruitment meeting by calling or sending a text message with the word “job” to phone number: 605 130 466. They will be contacted by a Randstad consultant within 24 hours.

In the second half of December, application points will also be launched at the LPP Distribution Centre in Brześć Kujawski. Manpower and Randstad offices will operate from Monday till Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The recruitment process

Once the candidates submit their applications by e-mail or in person, the documents will be analysed in terms of meeting the requirements for particular positions. In the case of a positive decision, the selected candidates will be invited for job interviews. Those who pass this stage will be presented with an offer of employment together with information on the planned date of commencement of work. Feedback will also be provided to those whose application for employment is unsuccessful.

Additional benefits and working conditions

A package of non-wage benefits has been prepared for the employees of the LPP Distribution Centre. The most important ones include lunch for 1 PLN, free commute to work by public transport or free hot and cold drinks. Employees will also receive discount vouchers for purchases at LPP brands (Reserved, Sinsay, Cropp, Mohito and House). Those employed by employment agencies will receive additional benefits offered by Manpower and Randstad (such as sports cards, private medical care, discount vouchers).

LPP has also planned a number of amenities for its employees on the premises. The staff will have at their disposal, among others, a company canteen and modern social facilities. Over 600 parking spaces for passenger cars, 20 spaces for public transport vehicles and a bicycle parking spaces have been designed around the building. Additionally, to increase comfort and safety, the daily work of the Centre’s employees will be supported by advanced automation systems.

Additional activities

A promotional campaign will be run in parallel with the recruitment activities in the region. Information about the employment offer at the LPP Distribution Centre is already available online, in local media, radio stations and MPK buses running in Włocławek and the communes located in the vicinity of the investment. The campaign will last until the end of February 2022.
